Analiza la posibilidad de utilizar la cascarilla de arroz como sustituto parcial del poliol en la fabricaciòn de espumas rígidas de poliuretano y además determinar algunas de sus propiedades. En éste trabajo, los componentes orgánicos de mayor interés son la lignina y la celulosa, los cuales tienen porcentajes considerables y son similares a los de otros materiales lignocelulósicos utilizados en la formación de poliuretanos.
ABSTRACT: This study analyzes the possibility of using the rice husk as a partial substitute for the polyol in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams and also to dermine some of its properties. The organic components of greatest interest for this work, were lignin and cellulose, which have considerable percentages and are similar to those of other lignocellulosic materials used in the formation of polyuretnanes.
