La información generada será útil en otras investigaciones, para determinar, probar o verificar nuevos métodos o los ya establecidos, para que otros, luego del diagnóstico, puedan indicar un carbapenem, para que el tratamiento antimicrobiano sea efectivo, ya sea para una infección de la comunidad o nosocomial. --
ABSTRACT: The objetive of this study was to collect information about the use of the carbapenems, because there is no standard protocol for use in the Standards for the prevention and control of infection associated with health care, of nosocomial infection committee, of Roosevelt Hospital. The information generated will be useful in other investigations to determinate, test or verify new methods or already established, for others after diagnosis, may indicate a carbapenem for the antimicrobial treatment to be effective, either for an infection in the community or nosocomial. --
